I'm a UX designer and content writer with a background in military service, human healthcare, and veterinary medicine. I've spent a lot of my life in high-intensity roles, caring for others and learning what that kind of responsibility really costs.

I'm also a wife and mom, figuring out how to slow down after years of urgency and structure. These days, I'm more interested in intention and the quality of productivity — and in building a life that makes room for creativity, faith, and presence.

I design with empathy, informed by experience in caregiving and high-pressure environments. My work supports people navigating complexity, change, and reinvention.

My passion: small business & start-up collaborations

I thrive in small collaborative environments, which helps potential clients and partners feel valued and confident in my ability to work closely with them. This makes me an ideal partner for startups and small businesses, from crafting engaging user experiences to strategic business and branding plans. I've spent 10+ years freelancing as a designer and illustrator, the last 3+ focused specifically on UX/UI — bringing clients' abstract concepts to life while maintaining open communication and ensuring smooth handoffs of finished products.

After serving as an Army medic, I transitioned into UX/UI design to create experiences that go beyond aesthetics — prioritizing empathy, accessibility, and user needs. Through freelance illustration work and formal UX training, I've developed strong critical thinking and research-driven problem-solving skills to deliver meaningful, user-centered solutions.

Being a mother of 3 has strengthened my ability to collaborate, prioritize, and manage projects with empathy and clarity. Balancing multiple needs, timelines, and stakeholders has taught me how to communicate effectively, adapt quickly, and keep projects moving forward with intention and care.
